Jouer Cosmetics, the French-inspired prestige color cosmetics brand known for blurring the line between makeup and skincare, has announced that it will launch its own subscription box business. Le Matchbox, a curated collection of full-size beauty products will be delivered to consumers’ doors four times a year. Each limited-edition box is personalized to include a selection of full-size Jouer products—a $125 or greater value—in shades that match and flatter the individual’s skin tone and type. With box contents varying from quarter to quarter, Le Matchbox will contain an assortment of products including lip, face, cheek, eye and tools and selections are determined by responses to an online quiz customers complete when registering on Jouercosmetics.com. Customers can sign-up for Le Matchbox beginning on March 27, 2015 at a subscription price of $45, and will continue to receive their box each quarter through automatic replenishment. Boxes will also be available for a one-time purchase price of $65. “I love the concept and convenience of beauty at your door, but the current marketplace doesn’t offer the bespoke aspect that Le Matchbox will,” says Christina Zilber, founder, Jouer Cosmetics. “Le Matchbox caters to today’s savvy online consumer, and takes the mystery and guessing game out of makeup selection by offering consumers an uncomplicated way to enjoy the right formulas and shades for them.
